TYTING DOWN - GUILDFORD

EXTENSION AND REFURBISHMENT

Client: Private Client.

Tyting Down was built in the 1930's in the Arts and Crafts style. The house is located within the Green Belt, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The client's brief required the total refurbishment and extension of the property to create a large family home. Major re-modeling of the interior spaces was undertaken and associated extensions provided additional living space. A detached triple garage, pool and sauna were also constructed.

Due to the sensitive location of the house detailed negotiations were undertaken with the Local Planning in order to satisfy planning policy whilst at the same time exploiting the fine views from the property to the south of Guildford.
